Børge Mogensen Sofa in Gocken Jobs Textile
This handsome 1950s sofa designed by Børge Mogensen and produced by Fredericia in Denmark just had a makeover in my favorite textile from Sweden. The all over vibrant botanical pattern is called Rhubarb and was designed by Gocken Jobs in 1967. The printed textile is of a very substantial weight (and soft to the touch) woven linen made in Belgium. This sofa is a statement maker, and yet so very classic in its form. Frame and legs of solid dark stained mahogany.
